Session 7

Ponder, Action, Prayer, Challenge

Read Galatians 5: 22-23: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

What would it be like to live with all these attributes

Which fruit of the Spirit do you find the most challenging in your life? Why?

This week have a look at possible lies you are believing about yourself.

  • Are you wearing a mask?

  • If so when?

  • What triggers you to lie in this way?

  • Write this down and share it with a trusted friend.

  • Ask them to pray with you about this.

Prayer both morning and evening

Dear Lord Jesus, please help me to realise when I am believing lies about myself or about you. I am truly sorry for these times. Help me choose to live in openness and honesty, trusting you with all my struggles and pain. Help me learn to live without the need for my addictive behaviours. In Jesus name, Amen.

Biblical Challenge

Read the Key Verse Galatians 1:6-7 everyday: I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you to live in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ.

Memorize if you are able.

Read James 1:2-4 everyday:

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
