Christmas Newsletter 2021

“…to proclaim freedom for the captives…to comfort all who mourn…to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes…for the display of His splendour.” ISAIAH 61

This has been a special year for us here at Free! We have been stretched and grown in ways that we could not have imagined! The first thing we want to say to you is THANK YOU! Your prayers and financial support are vital to us as we seek to help people with addictive struggles into a living relationship with our Lord and Saviour and to find freedom.

We are now, as of September 6th, a charity as recognised by the Charity Commission here in the UK. This now allows us to have more recognition here in the UK and help us reach more people, both in the local church and the wider community.

As Covid-19 has really taken hold of the world, mental health has become a major issue in many people’s lives. Life has changed in totally unexpected ways! The health service here in the UK has a long waiting list for those with mental health struggles. This makes the work we do even more vital; helping create locally based Christ-centred support groups for people to begin a conversation and find the help they need. The local church community is needing this help just as much as those outside, even with the presence of Christ. Imagine trying to find help and understanding outside of Christ.

We are asking you to help us train others become effective small group facilitators throughout the UK and internationally. We are asking you to become part of the solution for many people struggling with addictions, a major mental health issue as people learn to cope with a changing world.

If you already donate, would you consider increasing your commitment this next year? If you have not yet made a donation, would you please consider partnering with us as we work to help those in slavery to addiction find freedom in Christ Jesus. Donate through Stewardship at:
